In this guide, we will demonstrate how to swap your IQ from Ethereum (ERC20) to EOS.
To use the bridge will you need to have IQ on Ethereum in an Ethereum wallet and around $20 worth of Ethereum to cover the gas fees. You will also need an EOS wallet either or We recommend using Anchor but Scatter will also work (some users have run into minor issues having to refresh multiple times).
To swap your EOS IQ back to IQ on Ethereum you'll need the same wallets and resources the only difference is that you will instead use .
Head to IQ bridge link: and connect your Scatter or Anchor wallet and your MetaMask wallet.
You will arrive at this page:
Choose the amount of IQ you would like to swap and enter the EOS address you'd like to send your EOS IQ to and Click “Swap”.
A Metamask notification will then pop up like this:
Click "Confirm" to approve the spending.
Another Metamask notification will pop up to confirm the final transaction:
Click "Confirm" to approve the transaction.
To ensure that your IQ on EOS shows up in Anchor wallet you'll want to add the IQ token to your Anchor wallet. Keep in mind it also may take a few minutes or longer depending on EOS network congestion for the transaction to go through.
Open up Anchor wallet and go to the left-side navigation menu. Press "Home" and choose "Tokens".
Press "Manage Tracked Tokens". The following window will appear:
Find "everipediaiq" in the Contract Account section and put a tick in the Controls section.
Now go to the left-side navigation menu. Press "Wallet" and "Load All Balances".
You will now be able to see your EOS IQ tokens on Anchor. Now that you've swapped your ERC20 IQ tokens to EOS IQ tokens you can deposit it into your Everipedia account to start earning rewards for editing articles or voting on proposed content. You can also use IQ to create new markets and make predictions in existing markets on .
